Testimonials

16-year-old Korbin was having issues expressing himself and coping with (what some called normal teenage boy problems. He had a myriad of situations that he refused to discuss with adults. Korbin’s mom, Michelle, sought assistance from various resources with few results Korbing still lacked the motivation to verbalize what was plaguing him. A friend of Michelle’s told her about Operation BookBag (OBB) a new organization that offers youth tools to address mental health and wellness and life skills to become positive, productive adults. Korbin attended an OBB event where he decorated his own journal to use as a safe outlet to express himself freely. Through OBB, Korbin has acquired new skills to help him process his emotions. He also knows that he has a group of individuals outside the home who truly care and want the best for him. “I have already seen improvement in my son’s behavior!” Said, Michelle.
